So, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is heaving a sigh of relief that his labour of love Bajirao Mastani is being loved by almost everyone who's seeing it. And now, he is getting ready to make a big official announcement in the next five-six days.
Casting actors in a film is never an easy task. And, who knows it better than him?
So, first the good news on SLB's front. Priyanka Chopra has agreed to play Sahir Ludhianvi's love interest Amrita Pritam in the legendary poet-lyricist biopic which he will produce. Moreover, Irrfan Khan had reportedly been signed to play Sahir.
However, Bhansali is still walking on a tight rope to complete the Amrita-Sahir-Imroze triangle.
Only if Sushant Singh Rajput had shown interest to play Priyanka's lover Imroze in the love saga!
SpotboyE has it that SSR, who has been approached for the same, will soon send out a word to the film's director Jasmeet K Reen that he should be excused from the ambitious love saga. The reasons for his U-turn are not known.
